The Barrie Colts (43-7-0-2) scored four goals in the first period at the General Motors Centre in Oshawa, en route to a 4-1 victory over the Generals Sunday afternoon. Darren Archibald (21,22) registered both of Barrie's power-play goals, as the Colts went 2/7 with the extra man. Alex Hutchings (34) scored the game-winner, beating Michael Zador on a big rebound from an Alex Pietrangelo shot. Stefan Della Rovere (15) scored unassisted at the 18:59 mark of the first, on the Colts third goal in a span of 2:40. T.J. Brodie had a pair of helpers, while Luke Pither and Bryan Cameron also collected assists. Mavric Parks was back in goal for Barrie, he made 23 saves and moves to 4-1-0-1 since joining the Colts.
