COLTS FORWARD RECORDS EIGHT POINTS IN THREE GAMES
The Barrie Colts are proud to announce today that forward Alex Hutchings has been named the Ontario Hockey League Player of the Week for the week ending December 5th.
Hutchings is riding a seven game goal scoring streak in which he has accumulated eight goals and four assists in that span. He scored four goals in three games this weekend, all coming short-handed, including two in 29 seconds in Barrie on Thursday night. The Tampa Bay Lightning product also dished out four assists this weekend, all of which came in Barrie's 6-3 win in Erie Friday night where the Burlington native had a five point night.
